RF-directed putaway verification methods

The Zone configuration includes a parameter for the Positive Verification method. The purpose of this is to determine which method the RF operator can use in that zone to confirm the product is being placed in the correct location. Available options for this are:

• Location Verification

  Scan or input the location number as confirmation.

• Check Digit Verification

  Select a single-character check digit that corresponds to the location number, which then displays to the associate on the location label.

• No positive verification

  The associate is not required to validate the location.

  Note: This does not apply to putaway because location is a required confirmation element in putaway.

If check digit is activated, the prompt for location is replaced with a prompt for the check digit.
