Start and end activity for labor

You can define an activity as indirect or direct work. When you must perform an activity, use the RF to start and end the activity.

To start an activity from the RF device:

  1. From the RF device Main menu, select More.
  2. Select Labor.

  3. To start an activity, select Start Activity
  4. Do one of the following:
    • In the Activity field, enter a valid activity code.
    • Press F2 to display a list of Activities.
  5. Optionally, specify the Owner for the activity.
  6. To confirm the start of the activity, press Enter.
    Note:  If the value you enter is not a valid activity code or if you do not have an active User Attendance record, an error message displays.
  7. To end the activity, select End Activity.
