Creating miscellaneous activity

Miscellaneous activities are direct tasks that are not created from WMS warehouse activities. For example, users can direct to start unloading a trailer at a door, to start receiving inventory that is unloaded, or to perform cycle counting in a particular zone. Miscellaneous activities are user initiated and able to call the labor standards engine (for non-system activities). Task instructions can be manually specified and included using extensibility or the Rest API. You can also include additional data to the user-defined fields on the RF report progress screen. For example, the screen accumulates the number of pallets that are unloaded until the user completes the task.

To manually create a miscellaneous activity task:

  1. Select WMS > Execution > Productivity/Labor > Task. The Task screen is displayed.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select Task Type as Miscellaneous Activity.
  4. Select Status as Pending.
  5. Select a Priority.
  6. Specify a From Location where the work to be performed.
  7. Click on the Labor tab.
  8. Select a Sub Task Type.
  9. Click Save.
    Note: 
    • You can assign a task to specific user by specifying the user code in the User Key Override field.
    • You can verify the user time sheet by specifying the user code in the User field of the list view and selecting the attendance record.
