Automatic Report Printing

Automatic Report Pirinting, also known as Background Printing is a process in which reports are launched from the Infor WMS application and sent to the Infor Reporting application for printing. The background printing functionality allows screen-based reports in Infor WMS to be printed automatically to a network printer. Screen-based reports are defined as reports displayed in the Web user interface within the context of a screen. These reports are accessible through a Reports drop-down item on the screen toolbar. Reports can also be printed automatically based on certain operational activities, such as printing a pick or packing list based on shipment orders being allocated.

Note: This functionality is only available from the individual screens where the implementation is complete; it is not available from the View Reports list view. You must navigate to the screen where the report is available. You can set the background printing functionality to On or Off (default value).
