Move using equipment ID during picking

To move using the equipment ID during picking:

  1. When the pick is complete, the Pick Next Task (TM32) screen displays.
  2. To initiate the move of all license plates that have been picked to the current equipment, press F5 = Move Equipment. The Equip to Dock (TD02) screen displays.
The Equip to Dock screen provides information to the operator to direct them to the correct location to move the picked license plates.
    Last Loc
View only. Shows the location of the last pick for the equipment you are moving.
    Equip ID
View only. Shows the current equipment that is being moved. The move process triggered by this screen will take all inventory in this location and move it to the new location confirmed by the operator.
    ID Count
View only. Shows the number of license plates in the current equipment (in-transit) location. This information will help the operator validate the move to ensure the correct license plates are included. The F6 key can be used from this screen to display a list of the license plates on the current equipment.
    Door
View only. Displays the Door location identified on the first license plate's shipment order on the equipment. This will be blank if there is not a door location defined for the order.
    Stage

View only. Displays the Stage location identified on the first license plate's shipment order on the equipment. This will be blank if there is not a stage location defined for the order.

    Pack Loc
View only. Displays the Packing location identified on the first license plate's shipment order on the equipment. This will be blank if there is not a pack location defined for the order.
    Confirm to Location
Scan or input the outbound location where the picked license plate is being moved to. This will move all inventory contained on the equipment to the specified outbound location. The location entered must be a valid STAGE or PICKTO location.

Since this move can impact multiple orders that could already contain a variety of staging or packing locations on the orders, this move will not update the STAGE, PACK, or DOOR fields on the order header records.

    Lpn (License Plate)
This is optional . Enter a new license plate number if all contents of the location (in-transit equipment) are getting merged onto a single license plate as part of the move to the shipping area. This feature could be used if everything is going to be placed on a container or other type of equipment that will be loaded together as one unit.
  3. Once the move is complete, the operator will be returned to the Pick Next Task (TM32) screen to continue the pick process.
