Explanation - STD Scenario #3

The same result as scenario #1. The 1-Mar lot was selected for the full pallet because all inventory for the oldest lot (1-Mar) is in the forward pick locations. The Each and Case picks will come from oldest lot (1-Mar).

The full pallet was allocated from the first reserve location for the lot determined by pre-allocation. Because OverAllocation is ON, all three case picks (36 units) will be allocated from the case pick location. Since there are only 12 units of the oldest (1-Mar) lot in that location, the remaining 24 units will be over-allocated for the 1-Mar lot. Even though there is inventory of the next (1-Mar) lot, the system is expecting to use the oldest lot (based on the results of pre-allocation). These two cases cannot be picked until at least 24 units of the 1-Mar lot are moved into the location. The 4 eaches will be picked from the piece pick location.
