The 1-Mar lot was selected for the full pallet because the quantity available for the oldest lot (1-Mar) is less than the pallet quantity (240). The cases picks were split between 1-Mar (12 units) and 1-Mar (24 units) because there were only 18 units (1.5 cases) available for the oldest (1-Mar) lot. The 4 eaches will come from the oldest (1-Mar) lot since there are six units remaining for that lot after the one case pick pre-allocated from that lot.

The first location (C103) with a full pallet was allocated for the lot selected by pre-allocation. If different location sort rules were used for the allocation strategy line a different location could have been selected. However, the system still allocates from the 1-Mar lot. The case and each picks were allocated from the corresponding lot selected by pre-allocation.
