Performing item recounts

It is possible that additional inventory for an item could be found later in the count process and require an update to the counts that were already performed. This recount can be initiated and completed for a specific item in a speed-pick location.

To complete item recounts:

  1. Select Cycle Count from the Prod Mgmt (POMP) menu.
  2. Select F2=Recount from Screen TPC1.
  3. Specify the Item Number and Order Number to start the recount process. A confirmation message is displayed.
  4. Press Y to continue. The recount process deletes all prior counts that were recorded for the item and order, and creates new production count tasks for the item. The operator can now complete the tasks normally.
