Using quick data entry to add order detail

The quick entry screen allows you to add order detail for an order line on a single screen.

To add order detail:

  1. Complete the steps to create the order header.
  2. In the Detail screen, click the Entry tab.
  3. Enter the detail information for an order line.
    Owner
    Specify an owner and press the Tab key. This action allows you to make entries in the other fields.
    Item
    Specify the item on the order line.
    Open Qty.
    Specify the open quantity for the item.
    UOM
    Specify the unit of measure for the item.
    Pack
    Specify the pack.
  4. If applicable, populate the optional Shipment Order detail fields. These fields are not required to save the record, but depend on the warehouse business operation.
  5. If you want to add other order lines, click Save & Continue. Once you have added all of the order lines, click Save.
    OR

    If you do not want to add other order lines, click Save.
