Adding an Outbound Lot Control by Ship To entry

You can control order allocation based on shelf life by Item, Ship To (customer), and Owner. Within the Outbound Lot Control By Ship To screen, you can add an entry containing expiration date or manufacturing date restrictions for a specific Ship To, Owner, and Item.

To add an entry with order allocation controls by Item, Ship To, and Owner:

  1. Within a warehouse facility, select WMS > Outbound > Outbound Control > Outbound Lot Control by Ship To.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Ship To
    Customer the order is being shipped to. Required field. Click the Lookup icon and select the applicable Ship To customer from the list.
    Note: Only Ship To records with the Last Shipped Lot Control field set to All Items or Select Items, or with the Allocation Lot Limit field set to 1 or No Limit are displayed in the list. See the Ship To Customer configuration within the Infor WMS Configuration User Guide for additional information on these selections.
    Owner
    Owner of the goods. Required field. Click the Lookup icon and select the applicable Owner from the list.
    Item
    Item SKU. Required field. Click the Lookup icon and select the applicable Item from the list.
    Item Description
    Item description within the system is automatically displayed when you select the item. Non-editable field.
    Minimum Shelf Life
    Amount used to calculate the lots to use for the shelf life by ship to. Specify the numerical value into the field.
    Allocation Lot Limit
    Determines the lot limit used during the pre-allocation process. Select No Limit (default value) or Only 1 Lot from the list.
    Exclude Returned Lots
    Determines if Ship To customer does not accept lots the Ship To customer has previously returned. Select No (default value) or Yes from the list.
    Exclude Last Shipped
    Determines if Ship To customer accepts product with an expiration date or manufacturing date older than product the Ship To customer has already received. Select Yes (default value) or No from the list.
    Last Shipped Expiration
    Tracks the last shipped expiration date of the Ship To on an order if the Ship To has the Shelf Life by Ship To selection set to on.
    Last Shipped Manufacturing
    Tracks the last shipped manufacturing date of the Ship To on an order if the Ship To has the Shelf Life by Ship To selection set to on.
  4. Click Save.
