Performing moves from Production Staging for counts

During the Auto Close process, if the Create Moves From Production Staging for Counts field is selected for the owner, a move task is created to move identified items from the production line location to the centralized Cycle Count location. Items in speed line locations that are backflushed do not contain an LPN. To facilitate the move, you only need to identify the From Loc and the item(s). You can perform this by selecting the options for Putaway or Move LPN from the Prod Mgmt (POMP) RF menu.

To perform a Production Move on an RF device:

  1. Select Move Items from the Prod Mgmt (POMP) menu. The Move Items (MI1) screen is displayed.
  2. Within the Move Items screen, specify the From Loc representing the speed line location for which the Production Move task is generated.
  3. Specify the item(s) in any order that a user can support moving. Press Enter to accept the item(s) to move. The Move Items (MI2) screen is displayed.
  4. Specify the To Loc representing the identified Production Cycle Count location. If it exists, the location configured as a cycle count location for the production line is displayed. If it does not exist, the CCPROD set on the owner is displayed. Press Enter to confirm. Item(s) are now move to the Production Cycle Count Location.
