Update rules for Owner Facility Control

These are the update rules for maintaining the Owner Facility Control.

If the Enabled column is being changed from Yes to No, the owner is removed from the facility providing these conditions do not exist in the facility:

    • Inventory records
    • Inventory transactions
    • Expected receipts
    • Shipment Orders

The synchronization process will delete the items associated to the owner as well as the pack records if the accounting entity was used to link the pack to the owner.

If the Enabled column is being changed from No to Yes for a facility, the synchronization process will update the facility with the owner, item, and pack records that are specific to the owner.

The results of the enterprise data synchronization can be viewed using the Enterprise Update Log screen. The screen displays trading partner adds, deletes, and errors. It does not contain item level add and delete information unless an error is encountered.
