Multi-facility setup

The application provides the ability to group warehouses into up to four levels. At least two must be defined; Company and Warehouse.

To create a multi-facility setup:

  1. Select Enterprise.
  2. Select Administration > Facility Management > Multi-Facility.
  3. Click Company.
  4. Click Action and then click Insert Child.
  5. Specify the name, description and appropriate level (Division, Distribution Center, and Warehouse).
    To add more levels, repeat these steps.
    Note: When creating Division or Distribution Center groups, the Name and Description fields can be labeled as needed. The name used for the Warehouse level must contain the combination of the database name and the schema name. For example, if the database is named WMPRD and the schema name is wmwhse1 for the facility, the name will be WMPRD_wmwhse1.
