Defining a Sub-Element

The sub-element represents the smallest work task that you can observe and measure. These work tasks do not need to be specific to a WMS task type; for example, picking up a stack of pallets would apply to picking, replenishment and putaway task types. Instead, sub-elements are building blocks for the major steps (Elements) required to complete specific task types (Operations). The diagram below illustrates the relationship among sub-elements.
