Screen tabs

When more than one screen is open, a series of tabs displays at the top of the screen just below the application toolbar. When you open a new screen, the previous screen remains open. You can open two or more screens at the same time.

  • To make a previous screen the active screen, click the associated screen tab.
  • When the number of screen tabs exceeds the available viewing space, the system displays scroll buttons. To view screen tabs that extend beyond the current browser view, click the left or right scroll buttons in the leftmost corner of the tab list.

This is an example of screen tab scroll buttons next to the Home screen tab:

  • To close the active screen, click Close Tab in the top-right corner of the screen. The application activates the previous screen.
  • To close additional screens, continue clicking Close Tab.
Note: You cannot close the Home screen.
  • To close all screens except the Home screen, click Tools in the application toolbar and select Close All Tabs.

If you attempt to close a screen or select a different screen with unsaved information on any tab of the current screen, a dialog box is displayed and you can specify whether to save the information.
