Exporting records into an Excel spreadsheet

With this export process, you can run export as a background job without having to wait in the same screen for the export to complete and download the file after export is complete. You can download multiple Excel files without experiencing user interface (UI) slowness.

  1. Navigate to the applicable screen within the WM module.
  2. Click Search to display the records.
  3. Click one of these export selections:
    • If the Export or Export to Excel button is displayed on the screen, click the button to export all fields of the selected records.
    • If the Export Options button is displayed on the screen, click the button, and then click Export All or Export List View to only export what is displayed..
  4. Click OK to export the data as a background process.
  5. Click Tools > Excel Export Downloads to select the files and export them.
  6. Select the Excel file to export and click the Detail button.

    The Excel file is downloaded to your web browser. Note that only one Excel file can be selected and downloaded at a time. The Excel Export list is cleared based on your configurations with the default value of 24 hours.

  7. Click the file to open the Excel spreadsheet.
