Viewing the Location Summary inventory screen

You can access the Location Summary inventory screen from the Other Inventory Views list. This view of inventory displays summarized balance information at the location level. You can perform searches and access other inventory views in the same manner as defined for the Detail Inventory screen. (See Viewing the Detail Inventory screen for detailed information.)

Within the Location Summary inventory screen, you can:

  • View inventory at the summarized balance location level.
  • Navigate to the other inventory screens/views.
    • Detail Inventory
    • Item and Location
    • Lot and Item
    • Lot and LPN
    • Lot and Location
    • Item Summary
    • Inventory on Hold
    • Serial Inventory
  • Specify search criteria into the filter fields located above each column on the screen. Searches can include wildcards for characters and operators for integers (such as =, OR, AND, BETWEEN).
    • You can select the columns to show (or hide) within the Location Summary list view. See the Infor WMS Introduction and Navigation User Guide for information on selecting columns you want to display.
    • Note that the Location field is always displayed in the Location Summary list view. You cannot select to hide this field.
    • As indicated in the search field for the On Hand column (>0 is displayed), a search only displays records with an On Hand quantity greater than zero by default. You can change the value if you want to view records with zero balances.
  • Click the hyperlink within this screen to access the corresponding inventory screen for specific detailed information.
    • Location - If you click the Location field within a record entry, the Item and Location screen is displayed for the location on the selected record.
  • Initiate the Location Hold inventory action directly from this screen by clicking Inventory Actions > Location Hold. The Location Hold popup screen is displayed. The fields are pre-populated with data from the record(s) selected in the Location Summary screen. You can place holds on one or multiple location inventory records.
    • Select the hold reason from the drop-down list. Required.
    • Specify any comments. Optional.
    • Click Save.
