Removing physical inventory holds

You can remove inventory holds (PIHOLD reason code) previously created for a physical control number. This action is usually performed after all counts have been completed but prior to finalizing all count information by performing the post process. The system will not perform adjustments if it is on hold at the time of the posting.

To remove a physical inventory hold:

  1. Select WMS > Execution > Cycle Count > New Physical Control.
  2. Click Search to display the list of records.
  3. Select the applicable control number currently on hold.
  4. Click Actions > Remove Inventory from Hold.
