On the Outbound tab, select the following options:

  • Strategy (for allocation)
    • STD3 – Dynamic Picking without Cartonization
    • DACTN – Dynamic Picking with Cartonization
  • Rotation
    • FIFO – rotate by First In First Out
    • LIFO – rotate by Last In First Out
  • Rotate by
    • Lot – Rotate according to the lot number
    • Lottable04 – Manufacture Date captured as the Lot04 value.
    • Lottable05 – Expiration Date captured as the Lot05 value.
    • Lottable01, Lottable02, Lottable03, Lottable06, Lottable07, Lottable08, Lottable09, and Lottable10values can also be used to determine the item rotation. It is important to note that these fields are alpha-numeric in nature, so the type of values captured is critical to allow the system to sort the lots correctly.
    • Dynamic Picking Location Sort - used to determine which location(s) should be picked from first within the correct lot.
    • 01 - Route Sequence / Location Name
    • 02 - Clean Location (pick from locations with least inventory first)
    • 03 - Quantity High to Low (pick from locations with the most inventory first)

Date Code Days – Number of days the application uses to calculate a date range (Upper Boundary and Lower Boundary) to determine what product can be picked. See the Infor WMS Configuration User Guide for more information.

Note:  The administrator is able to change rotational selections without un-allocating existing shipment orders for an item. If you are currently picking a customer order using dynamic allocation, you need to back out of the order entirely and go back in before the new rotation sequence can take place. All new items added to an owner that have been converted to dynamic allocation automatically populate the Rotate By field with the Default SKU Rotation field in the Owner table.
