Receiving using RF devices

An ASN/Receipt with a COOL, Bio-terrorism, or both, item type can be received using the RF device; however, supplier and carrier information cannot be captured using the RF device.

If the COOLBIOCHECK system option is set to 1 during RF Receiving, an error displays, and receiving does not continue unless the carrier and supplier information is entered from the workstation.

  1. From the RF device Main menu, select Receiving.
    Enter Printer ID
  2. Click Enter.
  3. For COOL/BIO Items, select options 1 or 2.
    Note:  Supplier and Carrier information is required on the ASN; otherwise, an RF New ASN cannot be completed.

  4. Specify the ASN or perform a Look up and click Enter.

  5. To complete the receipt, validate Qty, LPN, and the Lottable information; then click Enter. If the items you are receiving are marked as COOL, Bio-terrorism, or both, the system option COOLBIOCHECK is set to 1 and the supplier information is not captured in the workstation. The following error message displays.
