Labor Management tab

  1. Click the Labor Management tab.
  2. Specify this information:
    Labor Planning Enabled
Flag to indicate that Labor Planning is enabled for this facility.
    Save Standard Audit Data
Flag to indicate whether to save standards audit information. If you save audits, you can generate labor audit reports to review the standards calculations and the audit history.
    Planning Range (Days)

Specify the number of future days for which to calculate labor forecasting plans.

    Archive Plans After (Days)
Specify the number of days to retain the labor plans in the database. After this number of days passes, the archiving process removes the plans from the database.
    Maximum Corner Angle
Specify the maximum angle during travel at which the system turns a corner. For example, if this value is 135, the system considers that any travel legs that form an angle of 135 degrees or less turned a corner. Any angle greater than 135 degrees is not a corner.
    Archive Report Data After (Days)
Specify the number of days to retain report data. After this number of days passes, the archiving process removes the data from the database.
    Default Hourly Rate
Specify the default hourly rate for this facility.
    Distance Calculation Method
Specify the formula to use to calculate distance. Methods include:
    • Centroid - The system calculates the rectilinear distance from the geographical center of each travel section.
    • Corners Only - The system calculates the distance:
      • From the originating location to the travel section corner.
      • From the corner of the originating travel section to the corner of the other travel sections.
      • To the destination location.
    • Corner and Aisles - The system uses the Corners Only method plus the ends of defined aisles to exit, enter, and travel in a travel section.

Use these fields to set up payroll processing for the facility:

    Day Boundary Adjustment
Specify the hours and minutes before or after midnight that determine the effective date boundary for timesheets. The system uses this value, the time zone for the facility, and the clock-in date and time to calculate the effective date of each timesheet.

For example, if you enter -02:00, then the effective date begins two hours before midnight (10:00 p.m.). If a worker clocks in before 10:00 p.m. then the effective date is the current date. If a worker clocks in at 10:00 p.m. or later then the effective date is the next day's date.

    Automatic First Activity
Select the activity that is added automatically to the user attendance sheet when a worker clocks in.
    Payroll Period
Select the payroll period interval that applies to this facility. See Creating payroll periods
    Initial Period End Date
Specify the ending date of the first payroll period that will be created after the payroll period is defined for this facility.
    Payroll Extract Folder
Specify the folder where the extracted payroll files will reside. Enter an absolute path, for example, D:\infor\sce\scprd\labor\payroll if the folder is on a Windows server, \\server\payroll if it is a shared folder on another server, or /abc/def/ghi for a Unix path. If you do not enter a folder, the job will not run.
    Incremental Extract
Select Yes to extract old timesheets to additional files.
Default Equipment for Wave Estimated Labor Standards
    Assignment Equipment
Specify the default equipment that should be used by the labor engine when calculating the estimated labor standards on the wave for assignment picks.
    Full Pallet Pick Equipment
Specify the default equipment that should be used by the labor engine when calculating the estimated labor standards on the wave for full pallet picks.
