Adding item detail
To specify item details for a putaway strategy:
- On the Putaway Strategy screen, click the Item Detail tab.

Specify this
information:
- Receipt Type Includes (configure up to 3)
- This refers to the Type of the ASN/Receipt the license plate was received on. If the receipt type is included in this list, it is a possible candidate for putaway. An example of using this is for Return Receipt, which you may want to be directed to a different zone or a specific location.
- Receipt Type Excludes (configure up to 3)
- If the license plate was received on a Receipt Type includes in this list, it is not eligible to be put away with this step of the strategy.
- Receipt Disposition Includes (configure up to 3)
- This refers to the Disposition Type given to the license plate following receipt. The disposition is identified during the Return process. Examples of disposition may be Disposal or Repair. This allows you to control the putaway location based on the disposition or condition of product. Valid disposition types can be defined in the System Code RETDISPTYP.
- Receipt Disposition Excludes (configure up to 3)
- If the license plate was identified with a return disposition type that is included in this list, it is not eligible to be put away with this step of the strategy.
- Item ABC Includes (configure up to 3)
- If the Cycle Count Class assigned to the item is included on this list, this step of the strategy can be considered.
- Item ABC Excludes (configure up to 3)
- If the Cycle Count Class assigned to the item is included on this list, this step of the strategy is not used.
- Item Freight Class Includes (configure up to 3)
- If the Freight Class assigned to the item is included on this list, this step of the strategy can be considered. The Freight Class is defined on the Ship tab of the Item configuration.
- Item Freight Class Excludes (configure up to 3)
- If the Freight Class assigned to the item is included on this list, this step of the strategy is not used. The Freight Class is defined on the Ship tab of the Item configuration.
- Item Putaway Class Includes (configure up to 3)
- If the Putaway Class assigned to the item is included on this list, this step of the strategy can be considered. The Putaway Class is defined on the Inbound tab of the Item configuration. This is used during receiving to ensure a multiple item pallet created during receipt have the same putaway class so putaway can find an appropriate location. Valid Putaway Classes can be defined in the System Code PACLASS.
- Item Putaway Class Excludes (configure up to 3)
- If the Putaway Class assigned to the item is included on this list, this step of the strategy is not used. The Putaway Class is defined on the Inbound tab of the Item configuration.
- After you complete your entries on this tab, specify the status and location types.
