Creating a speed pick group strategy

To create a speed pick group strategy:

  1. Select Configuration > Strategies > Speed Pick Group.
  2. Click New.
  3. Within the speed pick group strategy header area at the top of the screen, specify this information:
    Speed Pick Group Strategy
    Specify a unique code identifying the speed pick group strategy.
    Description
    Specify a description of the speed pick group strategy.
    Force One Lot per Speed Pick – Not allocating by Lottables
    Select the check box to force one lot per speed pick location.
  4. Within the speed pick group strategy detail area at the bottom of the screen, specify this information:
    Step Number
    Specify the step number to identify the rule to follow in determining the target speed pick location. This is a required field.
    Location Category
    Select the physical location type such as cantilever rack, drive-through rack, or horizontal carousel.
    Allocation Zone
    Select the allocation zone.
    Zone
    Select the putaway zone.
    Minimum Capacity – Percent of Pallet UOM
    Specify the minimum percentage of pallet allowed in the assigned location.
    Maximum Capacity – Percent of Pallet UOM
    Specify the maximum percentage of pallet allowed in the assigned location.
  5. After you create the new speed pick group strategy, click Save.
