Catch weight configuration

The application does not validate weight captured while picking against an average weight, since the owner is typically interested in the actual weight. As such, the Outbound Average Weight definition is not required for the Outbound Catch weight feature. However, if the average weight field is set, and it falls outside of the defined tolerance level, an error message displays.

If the Disallow Entry of Total Weight option is selected on the Item screen, you must add all of the catch weight/catch data lines required to complete the weight/data capture before you can save. If you have not captured all lines required to complete the weight/data capture, a message identifies the number of required entry lines.
