Planning tab

The Planning tab calculates the details of the efforts involved in performing the task based on the values entered in the fields.

Labor calculation

To calculate the efforts required to complete a task, you can specify either the number of associates or the number of hours. If you enter the number of associates, this field calculates the number of hours an associate requires to complete the task.

The data on the right portion of the screen (Units per hour and estimated hours) is selected from the Labor data screen for this facility. Labor calculations are performed based on this data. If you want to change the configuration for this wave, change the values of Units per hour.

The left portion of the screen allows you to calculate the:

  • Time required to complete the wave after you enter the number of available associates.
  • Number of associates required to complete the wave within a specific time frame. In this case, enter the number of hours. The system calculates the number of associates required to complete the wave.
