Maintaining existing load IDs

To maintain an existing load ID:

  1. Select Outbound > Load Management > Maintenance. The Load Maintenance screen is displayed.
  2. To display a list, use Search.
  3. Click a Load ID. The Detail view is displayed.
  4. To view each order on the load, click the check box next to a Stop. To change the order of the stops on the route, click the Stop and type the new Stop number in the Stop # field.
  5. On the Outbound Units tab, specify a sequence and position for the outbound load.
    Note:
    • Sequence numbers can be a sequential range for the entire load or a range specific to the stop. If you specify a sequence range, the application dispatches RF load tasks to the loader based on the sequence. The loader cannot override this sequence to choose alternate IDs during RF loading.
    • Position refers to the position location to which the order is loaded on the truck. Multiple IDs and Sequence numbers can have the same position number: This indicates that pallets can be stacked together into a single position on the trailer.
  6. To specify a load as a floor load on the Outbound Unit tab, select the Floor loaded check box for the each unit that is a floor load.
Use the Floor Loaded check box to indicate that the contents of that license plate were physically placed on the floor of the trailer and are no longer part of a license plate. This information is used when BOL information is printed so that the contents of the unit IDs for the order are listed as loose and not listed on an LPN.
  7. To reassign outbound units to another load on the Outbound Unit tab, click the check box next to each unit you want to reassign.
  8. Click Actions and select Reassign.
  9. Specify the new route, load ID, and stop for the unit and click OK.
  10. To add or change the seal ID for a truck, click the Seal tab.
  11. In the Seal ID field, click the new seal and specify the seal ID.
  12. Select Description and select a location description for the seal.
  13. Click Save.
