Replenishment overview

Replenishment is the process in which fixed pick locations are refilled to capacity with reserve stock from bulk locations. If pick locations are used in the warehouse, these locations must be refilled regularly. The quantities refilled are based on the total capacity of the pick location and the quantity of the item picked from the location.

RF-assisted replenishment occurs when an RF device user selects the Replenishment option (5 on the RF device Main menu) and specifies the From and To zones in which they are working. The application then returns replenishments related only to the specified zones.

RF-directed replenishment occurs when an RF user selects Task Manager and then enters a work area. The application sends the most critical replenishment tasks within the specified area. Higher-priority tasks, such as move tasks and putaway tasks are sent before replenishment tasks.

Note:  A key feature of Infor WMS Warehouse Management is the ability to modify RF screens to control and process flow throughout the operation. This includes changing text descriptions, field sequence, field display, and the data that must be captured. For this reason, some of information presented in this guide might not match your RF screen display. You might also see information discussed in this guide that is different than the screen capture displays in the guide. For more information on modifying the RF screens, see the Infor WMS Administrator's Guide.
Note: Each RF screen example included in this guide is shown as a MetaRF executable screen (displayed first) and as a Browser RF (HTML) generated screen (displayed second).
