Configuring for QC inspections for an item

The QC Location option for the item overrides the Default QC Location option for the owner.

To set a QC Location for an item:

  1. Select Configuration > Item.
  2. Click New and create a new item. The Item Detail screen is displayed.
  3. Click the Control tab.
  4. In the QC Location field, specify the QC location.
    Note:  The default is the location defined for the owner. If this default does not meet your facility’s requirements, specify a valid location defined in the application in the QC Location field.
  5. If RF inspections are to be performed, select Administration > System Settings.
  6. Select the ReceiptLineCopyFlag option.
    Note:  You must select this option for each warehouse that has RF QC inspections. This allows QC requirements defined on a receipt detail to be applied to all receipts of the item on that ASN/Receipt.
