Setting a default QC location for an owner

You can associate the QC Location for an owner so that any item the owner creates or owns defaults to the specified QC location.

To associate a QC location with an owner:

  1. Select Configuration > Trading Partner > Owner.
  2. Perform one of the following:
    • To display a list, use the Search feature.
    • Click New and create a new owner.

      The Owner screen is displayed in List View.

  3. Select the owner you want to view. The Owner Detail screen is displayed.
  4. Click the Task tab.
  5. In the Default QC Location field, do one of the following:
    • Specify a valid QC location.
    • To find and select a QC location, use the Lookup feature.
    Note:  The application ships with a default QC location called QC. If this default does not meet your facility’s requirements, specify a valid location in the Default QC Location field.
