Configuring grab quantities and labor reach frequency unit

Specific grab quantity and reach configurations within the application are required for the application to process the labor reach quantity calculations.

Warehouse > WMS > Configuration > Productivity > Activity Configuration

  • Enable Grab Quantity

With the detail view of an activity displayed, click the Detail tab. Select the Enable Grab Quantity check box to turn on the reach quantity calculation functionality. If this check box is not selected, the reach quantity is set to zero (0) regardless of the grab quantities configured on the inventory pack or productivity activity.

Warehouse > Labor > Labor Standards > Operations > Elements

  • Frequency Unit field

When creating a new element, select the Per Reach value in the Frequency Unit field. The Per Reach value must be selected for grab/reach quantity configuration.

Enterprise > Configuration > Pack

  • Grab Quantity fields

With the detail view of a pack displayed, click the Dimensions tab. Specify the grab quantities for the Units of Measure within the Grab Quantity fields. Note that the pack grab quantities override the grab quantities specified within the productivity activity configuration (described below).

Warehouse > WMS > Configuration > Productivity > Activity Configuration

  • Cubic Volume, Weight, and Grab Quantity fields

With the detail view of an activity displayed, click the Grab Quantity tab. Click New to specify the cubic volume and weight boundaries, and the grab quantity.
