Adding supervisor-initiated delays

From the timesheet screen, a supervisor can add a delay to multiple users' timesheets at once. The delay overlaps on top of a user's timeline. The delay is indicated by a clock icon. The length of time for the delay is deducted from whichever activity the start time of the delay overlaps with.

For example, if a fire drill is taken and it impacts the entire shift, the supervisor can enter a delay for all the users on the shift. The time of the fire drill is deducted from whatever activity the user was in the middle of when the fire drill was initiated. When the user returns, the next activity the user performs appears very long (start time to end time) because it also includes the time for the fire drill. By entering a delay that overlaps the timeline, the time for the fire drill is deducted from the activity that the user performed when he returned. This is reflected in the time sheet totals in the header but does not alter the durations of the detail.
