Setting up a system directed lot swapping

Before system directed lot swapping can take place, these settings must be selected.

  1. Ensure that you have Overallocate Assigned Pick Locations selected on the Allocation Strategy page.
  2. Select Enterprise > Configuration > Trading Partners > Owner, and then select the Task tab.
  3. Select System Directed in the Default Lot Swapping field. Otherwise, select No.
  4. Select Enterprise > Configuration > Item, and then select the Outbound tab.
  5. Select System Directed in the Allow Lot Swapping field to have the system use the lot swapping picking process. Otherwise, select No.
