Understanding the production order process flow

The entire production order process touches several areas of the application to successfully manage inventory throughout the process. Each of the functions being used and the sequence of the functions are provided below. Note that a host system (ERP) is responsible for generating the key documents used by Infor WMS to drive inventory through the production process. A reference number, typically the Production Order number, is passed by the host system to link the production order to the expected receipt of the finished good.
