Adding inventory to production move that system identifies as zero (0)

You can add an item back to inventory that the system identifies as zero (0) but inventory physically remains on the production line to be moved or counted. (Note that the process used to perform this function is the same as the standard cycle count functionality to add inventory with a blind receipt.)

To add production inventory that the system identifies as zero ()):

  1. Select Move Items from the Prod Mgmt (POMP) menu. The Move Items (MI1) screen is displayed.

  2. Press F2 Add Inventory. The Add Inv screen is displayed.
  3. Specify the location and LPN; press Enter. The Blind Rcpt RC00N screen is displayed.
  4. Specify the owner and item information; press Enter. The Blind Rcpt RC10N screen is displayed.
  5. Specify the positive inventory adjustment into the Qty field and the location into the Loc field; press Enter.
    The positive adjustment is created and the item is added to the location with a new lot.
