Reason Codes

Reason codes identify the reasons for facility exceptions and user work schedule changes. When you maintain a standard set of reason codes, you ensure that you consistently identify the different reasons that require a facility or schedule exception.

To create reason codes:

  1. From the Labor menu, select Administration > Scheduling > Reason Codes.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify a code and full description for the reason. Users use this information to assign reason codes to facility exception records.
  4. Click Save.
