Importing the Excel spreadsheet via the master import feature

To import the Excel spreadsheet using the master import feature:

  1. To import Enterprise-level data, select Enterprise from the Facility drop-down list. Select Enterprise > Administration > Imports > Submit Jobs.

    OR

    To import Facility-level data, select the applicable warehouse from the Facility drop-down list. Select WMS > Administration > Imports > Submit Jobs.

  2. In the Screen field, select the screen associated with the records to import.
  3. Specify a description of this import.
    Note: The description can be helpful when you are reviewing the Import log.
  4. Within the Content Data field, specify the location of the spreadsheet file you want to import, or click Browse to locate and select the desired worksheet file.
  5. Click Upload.
  6. Click the Click here to preview link to view a preview of the file to upload.
    Note: If you upload multiple files, you can click the preview link to verify that you have selected and uploaded the correct file.
  7. Click Submit to complete the import process. Depending on the size of the file and on the number of other import jobs the system is currently processing, the changes could begin immediately or it could take several minutes for the import process to complete. The system imports all records that are error free. When the import process is complete, you can view the import results within the Import Logs screen.
