Performing a move on the Inventory Moves screen

To perform a move on the Inventory Moves screen:

  1. Select Execution > Inventory > Moves. The Move is displayed.
  2. To display a list of moves, use the Search feature.
  3. Click More Fields to access fields Lottable 01 - 12 to use as search criteria to identify which inventory records need to be moved.
Several pieces of information display to assist in identifying which inventory records need to be moved, including:
    Owner
    Owner of the inventory.
    Item
    Item number.
    Location
    Current location.
    Lot
    System lot number.
    LPN
License plate for the inventory record (can be blank).
    Quantity
    Quantity currently in inventory.
Note: Inventory is not considered available if it is allocated or on hold.

    Other information listed includes:

    Status
Status of the inventory record: HOLD = A hold has been placed on the lot, location, or LPN. OK = No hold reason is applied.
    Quantity Allocated
Quantity of this inventory that has been allocated.
    Quantity Available
Quantity of this inventory that is available to be moved. This is calculated; Quantity Available = Quantity – Quantity Allocated – Quantity Picked.
Note: The maximum amount of inventory that can be moved is the Quantity Available. The portion of inventory that is allocated or picked is not eligible to be moved.
  4. Specify this information:
    To LPN
New LPN associated with the item to be moved. If the LPN is not changing, leave this field blank.
    To Location
Location where the item is being moved (Required).
    Quantity to Move
Quantity of the item to be moved to the new location (Required).
    To Gross Weight (optional)
This is the gross weight of the product being moved. If a record is being split, the system will automatically calculate the weight information to move based on the current weight and portion of the inventory being moved.
Note: You do not need to maintain this field unless a specific weight needs to be noted on the move.
    To Net Weight (optional)
This is the net weight of the product being moved. If a record is being split, the system will automatically calculate the weight information to move based on the current weight and portion of the inventory being moved.
Note: The user does not need to maintain this field unless a specific weight needs to be noted on the move.
    To Tare Weight (optional)
This is the tare weight of the product being moved. If a record is being split, the system will automatically calculate the weight information to move based on the current weight and portion of the inventory being moved.
Note: The user does not need to maintain this field unless a specific weight needs to be noted on the move.
  5. Click Actions and select Execute Moves.
    • If the move cannot be executed, a message displays indicating why the move could not be performed. Be sure to verify that the move transaction processed.
    • If the workstation move is being done before the physical move of inventory, notify the appropriate associate. The move task is not sent to an RF device.
    • If you have specified the information but do not want to perform the move transaction, click Actions and select Clear Moves. This will clear out all data input from the screen.
