Viewing inventory balances for serial numbers

You can view serial inventory records.

Note: An item is only listed in the Serial Inventory screen if it is configured for End-to-End Serial Tracking.

To view serial inventory records:

  1. Select Execution > Inventory > Serial Inventory. The Serial Inventory screen is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria into the applicable column filter fields for the corresponding data you want to view.
    • You can select the columns to show (or hide) within the Serial Inventory list view. See the Infor WMS Introduction and Navigation User Guide for information on selecting columns you want to display.
    • Note that the Item, Lot, Location, LPN, Hold Reason, and Serial Number fields are always displayed in the Serial Inventory view. You cannot select to hide these fields.
  3. Click Search. Serial inventory records displayed include the following data fields:
    Owner
    Owner of the item.
    Item
    Unique identifier for the item.
    Lot
    Lot number associated with the item.
    Location
    Physical location range associated with the item.
    LPN
    License plate number (case or pallet ID) range associated with the item.
    Serial Number
    Serial Number associated with the item. If the serial number required parsing from a longer barcode string, this is only the portion that is defined as the "serial number".
    Data 2
    Catch Data field 2 associated with the item.
    Data 3
    Catch Data field 3 associated with the item.
    Data 4
    Catch Data field 4 associated with the item.
    Data 5
    Catch Data field 5 associated with the item.
    Weight
    Weight captured at time of receipt if the item was configured to record it.
    Serial Number Long
    Full barcode scanned that represents the serial number before parsing of the barcode is performed to extract only the serial.
    Quantity
    Quantity of the item.
    You can click the hyperlinks within these data fields to access the corresponding inventory screens for specific detailed information.
    • Location - If you click the Location field within a record entry, the Detail Inventory screen is displayed for the location on the selected record.
    • Lot - If you click the Lot field within a record entry, the Detail Inventory screen is displayed for the lot and owner on the selected record.
    • Item - If you click the Item field within a record entry, the Detail Inventory screen is displayed for the item and owner on the selected record.
