Dimensions tab

The dimensions tab provides the ability to specify the length, width, and height information for each unit of measure defined for the pack.
Note: On this screen, the Unit of Measure and Units per Measure columns are display only. These show the values input on the Pack tab.
  1. Click the Dimensions tab.
  2. Specify this information:
    Dimensions (Length, Width, Height, Weight)
Specify the standard dimensions if desired for each unit of measure configured in the pack.
Note: This is optional information unless you are using a putaway restriction to validate capacity for putaway using the Pallet Wood Dimensions. If the Pallet Wood Dimensions restriction is used, you must complete the Length, Width, and Height fields for the various units of measure used on the pack.
    Grab Quantity
Specify the grab quantities for the Units of Measure. Note that the pack grab quantities override the grab quantities specified within the productivity activity configuration. See the Infor WMS Productivity and Labor User Guide for information on the grab quantity functionality.
Pallet Wood Dimensions (Length, Width, Height)
This is used to configure the length, width, and height measurement of the pallet wood or other material used for stacking the license plate full of product. This dimension measurement is required if using the Dimension Restriction on putaway strategies for 'Fit by Wood' to validate if the product being put away can fit into the location. This measurement is used in conjunction with the location dimensions to determine if the license plate can fit in the location.
    Pallet Configuration (TI x HI)
The Pallet Configuration identifies the number of cases contained on a standard pallet.
    Note: This is optional information.
    Cases per Tier (TI)
This is the number of cases included on one layer of a pallet. This is required if using the putaway dimension restriction for 'Fit by Wood'.
    Tiers per Pallet (HI)
This is the number of layers on a pallet. To identify how many cases are on a pallet, multiply the Cases per Tier and Tiers per Pallet. This is required if using the putaway dimension restriction for 'Fit by Wood'.
  3. Click Save.
