Types of codes

Because the system codes are used throughout the application, there are different types of control needed for the codes.

• Enterprise level codes that are linked to specific functions in the system and cannot be removed or added to. The description used for these codes can be modified by the operation if needed.
• Enterprise level codes that provide flexible use in the system and can be maintained for the enterprise. These can be managed only by an enterprise user.
• Warehouse level codes that are linked to specific functions and cannot be removed or added to. The descriptions can be edited by a warehouse user for a specific facility.
• Warehouse level codes that provide flexible use in the system. These can be managed only by a warehouse user.
