Wave building - step-by-step instructions
The following steps must be performed to build a wave. See Overview and Wave maintenance.
Step 1 - Wave creation/confirm
The first step to processing orders through wave planning is to create the wave. This can be done by using the Query Builder or Graphical builder in or can be done from the workbench using a filter that has already been created to select orders.
Step 2 - Allocate/Release/Consolidate
After the wave has been confirmed, you can perform wave-specific functions, such as Consolidate, Allocate, or Release. To do this, select . You can now select the wave, preview the orders included on the wave, and then allocate, release, or consolidate the orders in the wave. These functions can be completed from the Wave Maintenance screen or included as part of the scheduler process used to create the wave.
