Creating return receipts using the ASN/Receipt screen
To create a return receipt using the ASN/Receipt screen:
- Select Inbound > ASN/Receipt.
 - 
            Do one of the following:
		  
            
- To display a list, use the Search feature.
 - Click New and create a new ASN/Receipt. The ASN/Receipt screen is displayed in Form view.
 
 - Select the Type field, select Return.
 - In the Owner field, specify the name of the owner who is returning the items.
 - If the ASN/Receipt Detail screen is in List view, click a Detail icon for the detail you want to view. The ASN/Receipt Detail screen is displayed in Form view.
 - 
            Enter information in the following fields on the Detail List View:
		  
            
- Item
 - UOM
 - Expected (quantity)
 - Received (quantity
 - LPN
 
 - Click Save.
 - To review returns information, click the Returns tab on the ASN/Receipt Detail screen.
 - 
            On the Returns tab, populate the following fields:
		  
            
- Type
 - Classifies the return. The application includes the following return types:

- CO – Contractual
 - DM – Damage/Defective
 - OT – Others
 - RC – Recalls
 - RP – Repairs
 - SH – Shipment Errors
 
 - Disposition Type
 - Identifies what should be done with the returned item. The application includes the following disposition types:

- DP – Disposal
 - OT – Other
 - RP – Repair
 
 - Disposition Code
 - Identifies in greater detail what should be done with the returned item. The application includes the following disposition codes:
 - 
					 
- DP3PT – Third Party disposal
 - DPDON – Donate to charity
 - DPSAL – Salvage
 - DPSCR – Scrap
 - DPSEC – Secure disposal
 - OTEXC – Exchange
 - OTRSL – Resale
 - OTUAI – Use as is
 - RPRFB – Refurbish
 - RPRTV – Repair – RTV
 - RPWRK – Repair – Rework
 
 - Reason
 - Identifies the cause for the return. The application includes the following return reason codes:

- COOUT – Obsolete/Outdated
 - COSAL – Salvage Return
 - COSSN – Seasonal Product
 - COSTA – Stock Adjustment
 - DMCOS – Damage – Cosmetic
 - DMDEF – Defective

 - OTMSC – Miscellaneous
 - RCCNT – Recall – Contamination
 - RCDAM – Recall – Damage
