Adding Returned Lots by Ship To

When order allocation control is set up based on shelf life by Item, Ship To (customer), and Owner, the customer can apply a rule that restricts receiving lots that the customer has previously returned. Within the Returned Lots By Ship To screen, you can add entries containing the Ship To returned lots. You can track these returned lots to ensure that the lots are not shipped to the customer if the Ship To does not permit shipping previously returned lots.

To add a returned lot into the Returned Lots by Ship To screen:

  1. Within a warehouse facility, select WMS > Outbound > Outbound Control > Returned Lots.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Ship To
    Customer on the order to which the returned lots need to be tracked. Required field. Click the Lookup icon and select the applicable Ship To customer from the list.
    Owner
    Owner of the items. Required field. Click the Lookup icon and select the applicable Owner from the list.
    SKU
    Item belonging to the returned lot. Required field. Click the Lookup icon and select the applicable Item from the list.
    Lot
    Lot number on the returned shipment order details. Required field. Click the Lookup icon and select the applicable lot from the list. When you select the lot from the list, the External Lot and Lottables01-12 fields are automatically populated with the applicable corresponding data.
  4. Click Save.
