Configuring a report printer for automatic report printing

You can set a printer to different levels. The printer levels are defined below in the order of precedence.

User by report level

You can set the user level for each report. Each user can print a report to a different printer based on the location of the user and the stationary required for that particular report. You can set this printer within the Personalization screen.

Report level

You can set the report level. Each report can be printed to a different printer based on the printer set for that report. You can set this printer within the Report Configuration screen.

User level

Each user can set his own printer based on the location from where the user is logging into the application. This allows the user to select a printer that is closest to him. All the reports for the user are printed to his selected printer. The user can set this printer within the Personalization screen.

Server level

The server level printer is the default printer accessible to all users. A user can set this printer within the Report Printer screen.
