Shipment orders overview

A shipment order is an outbound document in response to a customer’s request for product from the warehouse. It records the quantity of each item ordered, as well as the destination of each shipment. Shipment orders can be created manually, through Excel Import feature or transmitted electronically in Infor WMS Warehouse Management.

Note: You can use the Excel Import and Export features to create or update shipment orders. With the Import feature, you can import, at a minimum, only the fields required to create a shipment order; or you can import additional data into other shipment order fields. With the Export feature, you can export all of the shipment order data to an Excel worksheet.
