Update rules for Enterprise data

These are the rules for updating the enterprise data

  • The latest enterprise level master data information is updated to the appropriate facilities as configured for the trading partner. This includes deleting owners and items from facilities when disabled if no activity has occurred for the owner in the facility.
  • This process will not delete an item from a facility if there has been a change to the Facility Control Group assigned to the item. It is important to have the desired control groups correctly defined and properly assigned to items when the item is created.

The results of the enterprise data synchronization can be viewed using the Enterprise Update Log screen. This screen displays trading partner adds, deletes, and errors. It does not contain item level add and delete information unless an error was encountered.
