Performing an assisted cycle count by scanning each piece

  1. Select Cycle > Each Piece Scan. The Each Piece Cycle Count (EPCC1) screen is displayed.
  2. Scan or specify a valid location to be counted and press Enter.
After you specify a valid location, the EPCC2 screen is displayed.
  3. Optionally, scan or specify an LPN and press Enter.
If you specify an LPN, the LOC and LPN combination must be valid. If the LPN is not found in the LOC specified, then you are prompted to trigger a move from the scanned LPN's current location to the location specified in the LOC field. Additionally, if the LPN specified is on Hold, an error message is displayed.
  4. Scan or specify the Item and press Enter.
The Item, LPN, and LOC combination must be valid.

If LPN was left blank and the item is not valid in the location, a pop-up dialog is displayed: This LPN is not in inventory, need to add inventory. Click Yes to be redirected to add inventory. Click No to clear the LPN scanned.

If more lots for the item scanned are available for the location and LPN combination, then select a lot from the list displayed on the screen.

The quantity is displayed as 1.

  5. Continue scanning additional items. The quantity increases by 1 for each scan of the same item.

    • Scanned LPN does not exist in the system
    • Blank is specified for the LPN and no inventory exists in the location with Blank LPN for the SKU
