Setting inventory purge process system options
To configure the system to automatically remove zero inventory records, select and update the following configuration settings;

Set preference for
running the inventory purge process with option
RUNINVENTORYPURGE. The
choices available for this option are:
Option Description 0 Do not run inventory purge process 1 Run inventory purge process -
On the bottom portion of
the settings, set the system option
ZEROINVENTORYDAYS to the
number of days you want to retain zero balance inventory records in LOTXLOCXID.
The application deletes any LOTXLOCXID records with the
EDITDATE<Current system date – ZEROINVENTORYDAYS - On the bottom portion of the settings, set the frequency with which the inventory purge process should be executed by using the INVENTORYPURGEINTERVAL parameter. Set this to 1 to run the process daily. The inventory purge process runs the next time a withdrawal from inventory is made if the current system date – date of previous purge process – is greater than the Inventory purge interval.
