Placing product on hold during receiving

Before putting inventory on hold, hold reason codes must be configured in Configuration > Codes > Hold Reason.

Once created, the hold reason codes can be applied to product three different ways during receipt:

  • Item configuration automatically places product on hold when received through RF
  • As part of the ASN/Receipt line if receiving through the workstation
  • The receiver applies a hold code during the receiving process.

    Using any of these methods create an inventory hold record by license plate for the inventory being received.
