Managing transship loads

Use the Infor WMS Warehouse Management Crossdock feature to assign load schedules for transshipments in a facility. RF-directed loading allows distribution center associates to handle the direction of transship containers from various operational areas within the facility to a single outbound load.

Defining loads

Load maintenance acts as the central point of intelligence for RF loading. Distribution staff can create, modify, and close loads from load maintenance. Loads for flow thru, shipment order, and transshipments can be scheduled.

Loads can be defined and electronically transmitted from an outside source, or you can manually define loads on a workstation. Load maintenance stores the records of outbound loads and details of all stops assigned to each load. Detail records for a stop on a load may be populated directly from the transship file.
